Wedding Photography Perthshire
A wedding of course is very special day in the lives of any couple, it's the start of a new beginning, a new future and a lifetime of new adventures and being part of that special day is an honour.
To capture that special day I use a mix of journalistic reportage photography combined with classic traditional wedding photography to create the sort of photographs you will want to share with your granny and put up on your wall for the world to see. I don't photograph people, I photograph the way they feel, the love and the relationship they have for themselves and their guests and this makes each wedding as individual and unique as the couples I photograph bringing back timeless memories of their day.
What better way than to show these memories than in one of our handmade albums. Each album caringly and thoughtfully designed in house is crafted using your favourite images from your day. For the DIY fans there is an option of a USB only package with edited and optimised selection of images from your day. But be warned your images are shot on very high end DSLR equipment so the files are highly detailed and of a superior quality which means they can be slow to load in some laptops and PCs. (All our album packages include a complimentary USB).
Micro Weddings and Garden Weddings have come to the forefront recently due to the recent Covid 19 restrictions that we have all endured and many couples are thinking along the lines of a smaller micro wedding with a big party later.
But Micro and Garden Weddings aren't new in fact they have been happening forever and there are lots of advantages to a Micro Wedding and they could become the new norm, I have been photographing these smaller weddings since the beginning of my career and I have even acted as a witness several times, but why are they so popular?
Of course they can be cheaper but I don't think that's why couples have them. Smaller weddings with only your nearest and dearest present are always less stressful, much more relaxed and fun.
There's not the same pressure to organise and entertain larger parties and you don't have to worry about the timing of the wedding so much, as long as your on time for the ceremony, because you don't have huge numbers of guests to meet and greet then usher around from one place to the next. Think of your venue choices? With a Micro Wedding, your venue options are endless from a shaded glen, by a waterfall to a unique special place with meaning to you or a bespoke hotel or restaurant and with many celebrants prepared to travel you can see the attraction of the micro wedding.
I offer a bespoke wedding photography service for my micro wedding clients as everyone has very differing requirements and expectations. From the smallest couple only weddings to larger gatherings I can tailor make a package to suit there individual needs and my Small Wedding package is also suitable for larger weddings too.
